A Post Graduate (M Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India, and Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (B.E. with First Class Honors) from Jadavpur University, Mr. Subhendu Chandra has the following professional qualifications to his credit -

• PMP® from Program Management Institute, USA
• SAP R/3 Certification (Production Planning) from SAP Germany
• Ellipse Certification (Enterprise Asset Management) from Mincom, Australia
   

With a rich overall work experience of more than Eighteen years, Subhendu’s association has been with many premier organizations such as SAP India Pvt Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Bajaj Auto, covering a wide gambit of industrial domain, service orientation.

As an associate with SAP India Pvt. Ltd. in the Consulting Division as well as a senior member of TCS’ SAP Consulting Practice in India, Subhendu Chandra has in-depth working experience in handling end-to-end ERP implementation projects in domains such as Manufacturing, Construction, FMCG, Utility & Steel industry. He has handled multiple level responsibilities ranging from functioning as  Program Manager and providing consultancy in the program and project management in strategic accounts, to, Project Delivery, Internal Quality function, Business Development, Manage RFP’s (Request for Proposal), Present Proof of Concept to different clients.

He has profound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related QMS (Quality Management System) standards and/or methodologies required to deliver end-to-end projects. He has conducted many internal audits against QMS as well as third party audit using PMBOK guidelines.

Subhendu has handled leading clients both international and within India such as Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Southern Water (UK), Tata Tea, United Utilities (UK), Garden Reach Ship Builders & Engineers (Ministry of Defense), Johnson & Johnson (US), South Western Electricity Board (UK), Tata Bearings to name a few, delivering end to end project implementation.

While at CMERI Subhendu had been involved in projects in the areas of product development for manufacturing industry, his association with Bajaj Auto has lead to a deep understanding of the Automobile domain.

Subhendu is a member of the coveted Project Management Institute (PMI), USA.
